Local Knowledge
On the ground in New South Wales
New South Wales has one of the largest serving and ex-serving populations in the country, spread across Sydney, the Hunter, the Illawarra and the regions. Holsworthy Barracks in Sydney’s south west is one of the Army’s major bases, RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle is home to the nation’s air combat capability, and HMAS Albatross at Nowra anchors the Navy’s Fleet Air Arm. Add HMAS Kuttabul at Garden Island, the training establishments at Singleton and Kapooka, and RAAF Base Richmond, and thousands of members transition to civilian life across the state each year. Many carry service-related conditions that are never claimed, or are lodged and rejected on evidence that was never properly built.
Statewide, online by design. DVA and the superannuation funds now process almost everything by phone and online, so where you live no longer decides who runs your claim. You deal with the same expert team the whole way through, from Sydney to Newcastle, Wollongong, the Central Coast, the Hunter and right across regional New South Wales.
State Entitlements
New South Wales Gold Card concessions
A Veteran Gold Card can open up more than DVA-funded treatment. New South Wales Gold Card holders may access state concessions including transport support and vehicle duty exemptions, administered by the NSW Government and Service NSW and separate from your DVA entitlements. Many of the highest value concessions are tied to a TPI or EDA assessment rather than the card alone.

Veteran claims across New South Wales
We act for veterans right across the state. Start with your nearest centre, or contact us wherever you are, our claims run online and by phone.
The honest answers, upfront
No. We work with clients right across the state and Australia, and we are online by design. Meetings, documents and updates are handled securely online to fit around your life, so where you live in New South Wales does not decide who runs your claim.
Any new compensation or rehabilitation claim lodged from 1 July 2026 is decided under the single improved MRCA. Claims you lodged before that date continue under the Act that applied when you lodged them.
A rejection is not the end of the road. It is a common part of the process. DVA decisions can be reviewed and appealed through VRB reviews, and we regularly act on matters that were previously knocked back.
