Local Knowledge
On the ground in Queensland
Queensland has one of the largest serving and ex-serving populations in the country. Townsville is the nation’s largest garrison city, home to Lavarack Barracks and the 3rd Brigade alongside RAAF Base Townsville. Gallipoli Barracks at Enoggera in Brisbane hosts the 7th Brigade, and RAAF Base Amberley near Ipswich is the RAAF’s largest base. Thousands transition to civilian life across the state each year, and many carry service-related conditions that are never claimed, or are lodged and rejected on evidence that was never properly built.
Statewide, online by design. DVA and the superannuation funds now process almost everything by phone and online, so where you live no longer decides who runs your claim. You deal with the same expert team the whole way through, from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Townsville, Cairns and right across regional Queensland.
State Entitlements
Queensland Gold Card concessions
A Veteran Gold Card opens up more than DVA-funded treatment. Queensland Gold Card holders can access a range of state concessions, including vehicle registration and stamp duty concessions and public transport support, administered by the Queensland Government and separate from your DVA entitlements.

Got Questions? Good.
The honest answers, upfront
No. We work with clients right across the state and Australia, and we are online by design. Meetings, documents and updates are handled securely online to fit around your life, so where you live in Queensland does not decide who runs your claim.
Any new compensation or rehabilitation claim lodged from 1 July 2026 is decided under the single improved MRCA. Claims you lodged before that date continue under the Act that applied when you lodged them.
A rejection is not the end of the road. It is a common part of the process. DVA decisions can be reviewed and appealed through VRB reviews, and we regularly act on matters that were previously knocked back.
